We do not have any unusual flow; that is, a human flow of Iranian Armenians to Armenia, which in any way differs from previous periods. Zareh Sinanyan, High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of Armenia, told this to reporters at the National Assembly today.

“We are constantly trying to be in touch, periodically it becomes possible to contact, but mostly not. People [in Iran] are being careful at home, they are simply trying to stay away from dangerous places, they are staying at home and hope that all this will end soon,” Sinanyan added.

And when asked if there were any injured or casualties among the Armenians in Iran, he replied: “There was talk that there were two people with minor injuries among the Iranian Armenians, but it is very difficult to confirm all this. They often say that when we try to go after information, we try to confirm it, it turns out that it either didn't happen, or it was so insignificant. This information is also not confirmed."
