President Donald Trump stated that the U.S. is not yet ready to end the war with Iran.

"We're not ready to leave yet, but we will be leaving soon," Trump said. He added that in his view, the U.S. has already inflicted such significant damage that Iran will need a decade to recover.

However, when asked whether the administration has a post-war plan for Iran, Trump declined to share details, saying only that the country is "destroyed from every standpoint."
