Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, is completely healthy, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated in an interview with Al Jazeera television.

Araghchi said that Mojtaba Khamenei had suffered only superficial injuries in the US-Israeli strike on February 28 that killed his father, Iran's then Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The Iranian FM noted that Mojtaba Khamenei is still completely healthy and in control of the situation.

As for when and how Iran's Supreme Leader will make a statement, whether in the form of a statement or in person, it depends on him, Araghchi added.
