Following the handing down of political sentences against Armenian prisoners in Azerbaijani courts, attention to this topic has dropped significantly. This was written on his Facebook page by opposition member of parliament and member of the Republican Party of Armenia, Tigran Abrahamyan.

He noted in particular:

"Although Azerbaijani media covered events selectively and in a strictly distorted manner, photographs, video materials, and fragmented words of Armenian prisoners of war still conveyed certain information. If one adds to this the closure of the Red Cross office in Baku, the information blockade surrounding the issue of Armenians held in Azerbaijan becomes even more complete. The Armenian authorities are taking no steps to break the information blockade, as their agenda and objectives lie in an entirely different sphere.

Freedom to all Armenians held in Baku's prisons!"
