Iran is prepared for sharp escalation in the event of direct US military intervention, Tehran Times reports, citing an Iranian security analyst, in the context of potential developments in the conflict.

According to the assessment, if the United States moves to a ground invasion scenario, Tehran is considering retaliatory actions beyond its own territory. In particular, it is claimed that Iran is “ready to seize the coasts of Bahrain and the UAE in the event of a US ground offensive.”

The report emphasizes that such a move is viewed as part of a broader military response scenario aimed at expanding the geography of the conflict and putting pressure on Washington’s allies in the Persian Gulf region.
