Armenia’s Ambassador to the United States, Narek Mkrtchyan, met with Brendan Carr, Chairman of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
As NEWS.am reported, citing the Armenian Embassy in the U.S., the meeting focused on key priorities in the areas of communications and security, particularly in the context of combating hybrid threats and misinformation.
Mkrtchyan highlighted the importance of the FCC’s experience and the need for cooperation, taking into account Armenia’s potential in this field and its infrastructure and technological development goals.
The two sides also discussed opportunities for sharing best practices in communications and institutionalizing cooperation.
