Iranian ambassador to Armenia Khalil Shirgholami sent a message of condolences on the death of Iranian-Armenian man Hovhannes Simonian as a result of the US-Israeli bombing in Isfahan.

"Beloved Iranian-Armenian Hovhannes Simonian was martyred in Isfahan as a result of the brutal attack by the criminal US and Israel.

Dear members of the family of martyr Hovhannes Simonian,

Our dear Armenian compatriots,

The news of the death of our beloved compatriot as a result of the US and Israeli terrorist attacks was a deep shock for us. The honorable Iranian-Armenian community, shoulder to shoulder with other Iranians, has always stood on the front lines of defending the homeland, honor and dignity, and has sacrificed its children for the homeland.

I ask the Almighty God for the heavenly kingdom for the soul of the beloved martyr Hovhannes Simonian, and for you and all your relatives, patience and spiritual comfort," the Iranian ambassador to Armenia wrote.

The aforesaid incident occurred on March 27.
