Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the newly appointed head of the European Union civilian monitoring mission in Armenia (EUMA), Satu Koivu.

The premier congratulated Koivu on assuming this responsible position and highlighted the activities of EUMA in Armenia. Pashinyan emphasized that Armenia-EU relations are of a dynamic nature of development and emphasized the EU's consistent assistance to the development of democratic institutions.

Satu Koivu thanked for the warm welcome and discussed the activities of EUMA. She expressed confidence that their close cooperation and active dialogue with the Armenian government partners will continue.

During the meeting, the interlocutors touched upon the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as ensuring stability in the region.
