I think the Russian president was not informed about that nuance. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told this to reporters Thursday, regarding the fact that only citizens of Armenia can be candidates for the post of prime minister of the country.
According to Pashinyan, taking into account the size of Russia and the agenda that the Russian president deals with every day, he could not go into those details even if he wanted to.
“Can you imagine the agenda of the President of the Russian Federation? Also, he is one of the key players on the international agenda. That is, should he have studied the constitution and laws of Armenia in detail? Of course not. They should have informed him in full. I just informed him that there is such a nuance,” Pashinyan noted.
