Armenia has scored 56 points out of 100, ranking 97th out of 164 countries in the Cloudwards internet freedom rankings.

Armenia’s neighbor Georgia scored a higher score of 64 points (81st), while Azerbaijan was significantly lower, ranking 121st with 36 points. Iran ranked 163rd with 4 points, behind only North Korea, which has zero points.

The rankings take into account the ability to freely express political and civic views online, as well as the availability of VPN services, torrent sites, and adult content.

The highest level of internet freedom was shown by 11 countries, which scored 92 points out of 100. These include Belgium, Denmark, Iceland, New Zealand, Norway, Slovakia, and Finland, where there are no restrictions on freedom of speech and access to social media. However, in these countries, separate problems are recorded related to torrent resources.
