A total of 453,138 tourists visited Armenia in the first three months of the current year; this figure is 18.2 percent more than the figure recorded in the same period last year, announced Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan.

He noted that Armenia has recorded very good results in the tourism sector.

“In particular, 453,138 tourists visited Armenia in the first three months of this year; this is 18.2 percent or more than 70 thousand tourists more than the figure for the same period last year,” explained the economy minister.

Also, Gevorg Papoyan pointed out that this is a record figure in the history of tourism statistics in Armenia.
