Armenian Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan received Indian Ambassador Nilakshi Saha Sinha, Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed by the Ministry of Finance of Armenia.

During the meeting, the parties reaffirmed the importance of strengthening friendly and mutually beneficial ties between Armenia and India, which is one of the priorities set out in the Armenian government's program.

Also, Minister Hovhannisyan and Ambassador Sinha discussed the prospects for expanding bilateral economic cooperation between Armenia and India, taking into account the growth in trade between the two countries.

Currently, it is planned to sign a memorandum of cooperation in public finance management between the ministries of finance of Armenia and India, which is aimed at increasing the efficiency of state financial systems and provides for the exchange of knowledge and experience in budgeting, internal audit, and digital transformation of the sector.
