President Donald Trump said in an interview with Sky News that the US would very easily return to military action against Iran if talks fail.

According to the program host of the aforesaid UK television, the US president made this statement during their brief phone call.

The journalist added that Trump lauded the ceasefire agreement reached with Iran, describing it as a “complete victory.”

“We've done everything we want to do militarily,” Trump said.

The journalist then said that he had expressed doubts about the viability of the 10-point plan proposed by Iran, since he did not think the US could agree to them.

In response, the US president said: “You don't know what those points are, but I do.”

He noted that the negotiations are already going well, and Iran is not making maximalist demands.

But if they "are not good, we will go right back to it very easily," Trump added.
