Lebanon and the entire Resistance Axis, as Iran’s allies, form an inseparable part of the ceasefire (Point 1 of the 10-point proposal), Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf wrote on X.

“2- [Pakistani] PM Shehbaz Sharif publicly and clearly stressed the Lebanon issue; there is no room for denial and backtracking

3- Ceasefire violations carry explicit costs and STRONG responses. Extinguish the fire immediately,” the Iranian parliament speaker added.

After Wednesday’s announcement of a ceasefire between Iran and the US, Israel, which joined this agreement, stated that it does not apply to Lebanon. This contradicts the public statement made by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
