Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna, the PM’s office informs.

The premier highlighted the multi-sectoral cooperation between Armenia and Estonia, and noted that bilateral relations have been intensive in recent times. Pashinyan noted that this is also evidenced by the high-level bilateral visits, which give a new impetus to the expansion of ties in various directions. The Armenian PM highlighted also Estonia’s role in the development of Armenia-European Union (EU) cooperation, including the effective implementation of democratic reforms in the country.

Tsahkna, for his part, emphasized Estonia’s interest in deepening cooperation with Armenia. He noted that Estonia is ready to continue its assistance in advancing the reform agenda of the Armenian government, as well as in promoting Armenia-EU cooperation. In addition, Estonian FM stressed the importance of holding the European Political Community summit in Yerevan in May, and expressed a conviction that it will be held at a high level.

Nikol Pashinyan and Margus Tsahkna exchanged also views on regional developments, as well as the Armenia-EU cooperation agenda, the visa liberalization process, and some other matters.
