Samvel Karapetyan, leader of the "Strong Armenia" party, who is currently under house arrest, addressed supporters with the following statement:

"Together we are the force that will bring change, and this force cannot be stopped. We must decisively win the elections, removing from power the small group that shames our people, humiliates our state, and undermines the foundations of our statehood.

We are all ready to sacrifice everything for Armenia, while Pashinyan sacrifices everything for his chair. Let them now hear us when we say: change is coming. Together with our team, we will build a strong Armenian economy — with new factories, 300,000 new jobs, a sharp improvement in people's living standards, and new opportunities for business and agriculture.

In today's world, a strong economy strengthens diplomacy and defense — and we will have strong diplomacy and strong defense, a protected sky and a professionally re-armed military that will truly guarantee peace not in words, but in deeds. Armenia must become a safe, peaceful, prosperous, and strong country — a country where leaders do not drain the budget and line their own pockets, but instead fill their pockets for the good of the Homeland. Justice and internal harmony will be eternal in Armenia.

We will no longer be weak — we will be strong in Moscow and will restore the damaged relations, we will be strong in Washington, London, and Beijing as well.

They may even arrest us and put us behind bars, but they cannot stop us on the path of change. Their fake and meaningless 'hearts' we will replace with our true Armenian hearts. We will never forget that the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church is our heart, and Mount Ararat is our heart.

We need a convincing electoral victory to more quickly implement the large-scale programs and changes that the Armenian people have long deserved. The power is in your hands — you start the change, and I will turn it into reality.

I am handing over management of my largest Armenian business company to my children, and I myself will serve my country and improve the lives of Armenia's citizens. The time for change has come. I will be with you soon — do not doubt it for a second. Justice will prevail."
