The United States and Israel caused $57.7 million worth of damage to historical monuments of the Islamic Republic during the conflict, Iranian Tourism Minister Reza Salehi-Amiri announced.

"In total, monuments in 20 provinces of the country were damaged. The damage is estimated at approximately 7.5 trillion Iranian tomans ($57.7 million)," Salehi-Amiri said, as quoted by Iranian state broadcaster IRIB.

He noted that a total of 140 sites sustained damage, of which 63 are located in Tehran, 23 in Isfahan, and 12 in Kurdistan.
