The United Kingdom is preparing a new version of a large-scale plan to ready the entire country — from the army and police to hospitals and industry — for war. This was stated by Chief of the UK Armed Forces Richard Knighton in an interview with Sky News.
He added that the updated version of the plan will require a different approach to ensuring resilience, taking into account lessons from the Cold War, but "in a modern context, with a modern society, with modern infrastructure."
