The second significant earthquake in 12 hours was recorded in the Caspian Sea off the coast of Azerbaijan, the latter's seismological service center reports.

Accordingly, on Sunday, a 3.3-magnitude quake occurred in the Caspian Sea at a depth of 74 km. Before that, tremors were recorded at a depth of 18 km. The strength of the second seismic activity was 4.6 magnitude.

Residents of the Lankaran District in southern Azerbaijan felt the tremors, Azerbaijani media added.

On April 8 and 9, six earthquakes, with magnitudes ranging from 3.3 to 5.3, had occurred off the coast of Azerbaijan.
