Since 2018, according to real estimates, Armenia's gross domestic product has grown by 53 percent, and our country's economy has reached a point where business-business, state-business, state-employee, employee-employer relations must develop in a new way. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted this during a meeting with representatives of large employers in Armenia on Monday.

"I want to thank all of you for these changes that have taken place in our country, because there are sectors and companies whose role in the Republic of Armenia is difficult to overestimate. It is very important that these companies also bring a new mentality, a new thinking, a new culture to the Republic of Armenia, which is actually the most important capital, opening up new territories for entering new sectors of activity, new fields.

I believe that the Republic of Armenia today has horizons before it that it has never had in its history. Armenia has never had such an unprecedented period of opportunities in its history. We need to be able to use this situation continuously, constantly. It is obvious that the [Armenian] government cannot do this without those who play a key role in the economy and the real sector of the economy. And in addition to just expressing gratitude today, I want to draw everyone's attention to this situation; this is, in fact, my main message," Pashinyan added.

The Armenian premier noted that a “scoring opportunity” is not yet a “goal,” there are dozens of “scoring opportunities” during a game, and if you do not realize your opportunities, they can even lead to defeat.

"We are excited by what we have achieved today, including as a result of a change in our thinking and perspectives. We also realize that we must be able to create and then realize ‘scoring opportunities’, because there is no ‘almost goal.’

We have created the ‘scoring opportunity,’ including for our economy; we need to be able to use this opportunity continuously. It is obvious that the [Armenian] government cannot do this without those who play a key role in the economy and, in general, without the real sector of the economy,” Pashinyan said.

Next, the steps being taken by the government towards the development of Armenia’s economy, the tools being introduced, the continuous improvement of investments, the expansion of existing opportunities, as well as several matters regarding the solution of problems were discussed.
