US President Donald Trump put pressure on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Israel agreed to hold direct talks with Lebanon.

The second round of talks between the US and Iran may take place on Thursday.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will participate in direct talks between Israel and Lebanon on Tuesday, a State Department official said, CNN reports.

Tehran has demanded compensation from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, and Jordan for their participation in the US-Israeli war against Iran.

US Vice President JD Vance said in an interview with Fox News that the military objectives in Iran have been achieved.

Washington insists that Iran hand over all its enriched uranium to the US, Vance said.
