All issues will be discussed, resolved, we will not go to war, we will not fight with Russia on any issue, we will try to move forward by solving all issues. Speaker of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, told this to reporters at the NA Tuesday, referring to the remark that, according to press reports, Armenian businesses already have problems in Russia; in particular, it is about the products of "Jermuk" mineral waters factory and Proshyan Brandy Factory of Armenia.

“We [i.e. Armenia] do not pose any threat to Russia, we are not going to become a threat. There is no such intention. There are some issues, such issues exist between all countries. At one point, these issues arise, they become more, they become less. We, politicians, are there to discuss and resolve these issues,” Simonyan added.

And when asked whether Russian officials understand Armenia's approach that the country will remain in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) as long as it can, the NA speaker replied: "Listen, when we don't approach with understanding, we will talk about it. Now, in fact, for how long have we [i.e. Armenia] been trying to combine [the EU and the EAEU]? And when [Armenian ex-President] Serzh Sargsyan negotiated the association agreement with the EU for two or three years and overnight they abandoned [it] and he joined the Customs Union, he combined it at some point, didn't he? Also, some documents were signed and some solutions were found. There are many similar attempts."
