Moldova will officially withdraw from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in April 2027, the country's foreign minister Mihai Popsoi announced.

According to the minister, after the Moldovan parliamentary decision to cancel a number of agreements, a corresponding notification will be sent to the CIS Secretariat in Minsk on April 8. The notification has already been approved.
