The Iranian armed forces have struck US warships with drones in response to the seizure of a vessel belonging to the Islamic Republic, according to a spokesperson for Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of the Iranian armed forces, Tasnim News Agency reports.

According to him, the aforesaid Iranian ship was heading from China to the Gulf of Oman when US forces allegedly opened fire on it, disabling its navigation system despite a ceasefire. Tehran said it considered the incident to be “piracy” and intended to continue responding to similar actions taken by the US.
