The US sealed the deal between Azerbaijan and Armenia in just six weeks, US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff said.
The two countries were at war for 37 years, but now they are best friends. Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Aliyev are good friends. They were brought together by US President Donald Trump, which is remarkable, Witkoff added.
This deal was the simplest, but the New York Times did not know about it, so they could not say anything bad about it, the US special envoy said.
