Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, during a meeting with his Latvian counterpart Edgars Rinkevics, provided information on the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Aliyev noted that there is already de facto peace between the two countries, Azerbaijani media report.

According to him, mutual visits by representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan contribute to the improvement of the situation.

Also, Aliyev noted the establishment of trade ties between the two countries, and pointed to the export of oil products from Azerbaijan to Armenia.
