Numerous NGOs operating in Moldova and Armenia are attempting to discredit relations with Russia. Deputy secretary of the Russian Security Council, Aleksey Shevtsov, stated this in an interview with TASS.
According to the Russian official, there are currently about 14,000 NGOs registered in Moldova, and about 9,000 in Armenia. Shevtsov claimed that the activities of most of them are aimed at discrediting bilateral relations and integration processes with Russia.
