President Donald Trump is set to hold a cabinet meeting on Monday to discuss the US' future courses of action against Iran, Axios reports.
Sources say the US leader is planning to discuss the impasse in talks and possible next steps in the war.
At the same time, Tehran has submitted a new proposal to Washington for a settlement of the conflict.
The talks will focus on the lifting of the US naval blockade of Iran, the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, and the future of Iran's nuclear program.
