Iran has presented a three-phase plan to mediators, according to which it is ready to hold talks with the US, Al Mayadeen reports.

Accordingly, the Iranian side demands that the first phase of these talks focus on ending the war and obtaining guarantees that military operations against Iran and Lebanon will not be resumed.

As per Tehran's conditions, no other issues will be discussed at this phase. In case of reaching an agreement on this issue, the second phase will discuss the issue of managing the Strait of Hormuz after the end of the war—and in coordination with Oman.

According to Iran's proposal, the third phase will concern Tehran's nuclear dossier. Accordingly, the Iranian side refuses to discuss this issue until an agreement is reached on the first two phases.

If the US accepts this plan for negotiations, Iran will agree to the next phase.
