In connection with the 24th anniversary of the Armenian pogroms in Sumgait, Azerbaijan, the American Armenian youth will hold a protest, which will take place on February 27, at 10 a.m. (local time), in front of the Azerbaijani Consulate in Los Angeles. 

The youth will call upon the Azerbaijanis to not distort the facts, and to accept their guilt in organizing and executing the pogroms of the Armenians.

The event’s organizers have appealed to everyone—American Armenians and each individual who supports justice—to join their demonstration. They are convinced that history will repeat unless crimes are condemned.
