The former President of South Africa 93-year-old Nelson Mandela was taken to the hospital in Johannesburg. The staff of the current President Jacob Zuma said he is suffering from long-standing abdominal complaint, BBC reports.
Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was the President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999. He was the most popular defender of the human rights in time of racial discrimination, for which he was sent to prison for 27 years. He is the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize.
