The EU foreign ministers accepted a new package of sanctions against Syria, the EU statement says.
The Foreign Ministers of 27 EU countries have adopted new sanctions against Syria’s Central Bank and the Syrian Airlines, RIA Novosti reports. The statement says that restrictive measures have been taken.
Earlier, the EU established an embargo on import of Syrian oil and ban on weapons export to the country.
