ANKARA. – Speaking before Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development Party’s (AKP) parliamentary faction, the country’s PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan also reflected on the February 26 demonstration in downtown Istanbul, which was devoted to the Khojaly incident.    

Erdogan stressed that they once again express their solidarity with the brotherly Azerbaijan, and added that the several slogans at the demonstration cannot cast a shadow upon their solidarity with the Azerbaijanis, Milliyet daily of Turkey informs.   

The aforesaid protest demonstration had turned into an event where hatred was spread and enmity was incited against Armenians, during which many participants held very offensive slogans against Armenians. But the progressive Turkish activists criticized this demonstration.
