PARIS. – French President Nikolas Sarkozy assigned the Government to elaborate new bill on genocides, taking into account the decision of the Constitutional Council on banning law criminalizing denial of genocides, the Élysée Palace informs, Le Figaro reports.

According to the Sarkosy’s statement, ‘the president took note of the decision’ and ‘assessed despair and deep pain of all those who responded with gratitude and hope for the bill adoption directed to protecting them from denial.’ Sarkozy ‘assigned to make a new bill, taking into account the decision of the Council.’
