Turkey continues to organize events instigating hatred and hostility against Armenians patronized by the authorities.

Such an event was organized in Turkish Rize city. On the occasion of the 94th anniversary of ‘liberating’ the city Armenians a performance was staged in the city center [before 1915 was one of the centers of Hamshen Armenian community]. It showed ‘Armenians’ who allegedly attacked the Turkish villages, raped the Turkish women and afterwards ‘hero’ Turks attacked and killed the Armenians.

Bayburt Mayor and Turkish PM Erdogan’s co-party member Haji Ali Polat had recently made anti-Armenian and nationalist statements, claiming the Armenians are enemy and calling on the Turkish youth to be revengeful.
