In order to have constructive participation in the Karabakh conflict negotiation process the EU must establish contacts with unrecognized states including Nagorno-Karabakh, MP from the Prosperous Armenia party parliament group Naira Zohrabyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Zohrabyan mentioned the importance of the announcement made by the FMs about the EU representatives’ unimpeded visit to NKR, as it is well known that Azerbaijan is creating obstacles for such visit.

“The visit of the EU representatives to Karabakh will result in Azerbaijanis decision to announce them persona non grata. Those problems must be solved and we commend the involvement of the EU in positive way,” Zohrabyan mentioned.

To note, during the meeting between the FMs of the nations of Visegrad group and EU member states the Karabakh conflict was not touched upon but the issue of unsolved conflicts was discussed.
