YEREVAN. – The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) adopted a resolution at the 13th congress on Saturday stating the RPA has been strengthening the statehood, expanding the defense opportunities and the level of the protection for five years.

“Despite foreign challenges and domestic difficulties, we managed due to consistent and hard work

- to maintain stability in the state under crisis periods

- to open a political system by rejecting the monopoly of money and self-centered leaders

- to break stereotypes on criticism and overestimate the opposition’s right to different views

- to be initiative and definite, participate in regional processes as predictable and responsible member of international community

- to continue the process of recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide together through joint efforts of Armenia and the Diaspora

- to strengthen the authority in Nagorno-Karabakh by multisided support, to enlarge the defense potential of the Army by installing new equipment and weaponry.

We will maintain and strengthen what has been achieved,” the resolution reads.
