After the Greek Patriarch Bartholomew, this time Archbishop Aram Ateshyan—the Armenian Deputy Patriarch of Constantinople—will speak before the Turkish parliament’s Constitutional Commission and offer his proposals for Turkey’s new Constitution.

Archbishop Ateshyan will suggest providing, in the new Constitution, equal rights for the country’s national minorities. Also, Ateshyan is expected to speak about the anti-Armenian slogans that were made and held during the demonstration that took place on February 26 at Istanbul’s Taksim Square, Star daily of Turkey informs.
