The Liberal Democratic Union of Armenia (LDUA) Political Board released a statement announcing its unification with the ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).

“In the recent years, many of LDUA Party’s program provisions were also on the basis of the activities of the Republican Party of Armenia. RPA Party likewise is guided by the imperative of gradual reforms, considering sustainable development a priority.

Taking into account the aforesaid, LDUA Party’s Political Board [hereby] decides to commence a unification process with the Republican Party of Armenia, to resolve the problems with united efforts and to participate in the forthcoming parliamentary elections,” LDUA’s statement reads in particular.
