PARIS. – Maxime Verner, Chairman of the Youth Association of France and young candidate for the presidential elections in the country, on Thursday announced he will not run in the upcoming elections. And the reason was because he could only collect 458 signatures of pledge, instead of the 500 signatures that are necessary, Nouvelles d’Arménie magazine of France informs.
“We must accept the reality, Verner said sadly, but with great dignity.
But he noted that his and his group’s mission has not ended. On the contrary, he stated he will assist the presidential nominee in implementing the youth program.
And in response to the question as to whether he has decided who he will vote for, the former presidential hopeful said he cannot say anything at this time.
