The Norwegian MFA allocated a grant of $1.2 million to Armenian Tree Project which provides services for reforestation in Armenia in 18 years by tree planting, environmental education and sustainable development, The Environment News Service informs.
Since 1994, the non-profit organization based in Yerevan and Massachusetts fights against desertification in the biologically diverse but endangered Caucasus Region. More than 3.5 million trees have been planted.
