YEREVAN.- Armenia’s hotels will have a chance to be granted “deluxe” status in the near future.
During the Thursday session, the government approved draft amendments to the law on tourism which will be later submitted to the parliament.
At the moment 1-5 star classification system for hotels is used in Armenia. The report presented by the Armenian Economy Ministry said introduction of “5 star deluxe” category will contribute to investments in luxury hotels and attract more demanding tourists.
