Lesser number of Armenia residents head to Turkey in February, too

ANKARA. – The number of Armenia’s citizens who went to Turkey reduced by 8.7 percent in February 2012, as compared with February 2011. 

A total of 3,225 residents of Armenia visited Turkey in February 2012, whereas this was 3,533 in February 2011, Armenian News-NEWS.am learned from Turkey’s Culture and Tourism Ministry.     

To note, the number of Armenia residents who headed to Turkey lessened by two percent in January 2012, as compared with January 2011. 

But a total of 72,393 citizens of Armenia visited Turkey in 2011, and this was 4.5 percent more than in 2010.
