During his visit to Armenia, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney stopped at the Yerevan restaurant "Kamancha" for lunch. NEWS.am was informed about this by the restaurant "Kamancha".

As we were told, the Canadian prime minister got acquainted with traditional Armenian cuisine: he was served hot dishes from the "Armavir" category, traditional salads, and the dish "Syunik Khashntur". Mark Carney refrained from alcohol.

To recall, we previously reported that Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney arrived in Armenia together with European leaders. Carney became the first non-European leader to attend the meeting as a guest since the creation of this European format. On May 4–5, 2026, the EU–Armenia Summit is taking place in Yerevan, where the parties are discussing the deepening of bilateral cooperation, regional security, and key international challenges.
