For the first time in years, there will be no military equipment at the May 9 parade in Moscow, which proves that the Russian Federation is no longer as powerful as it used to be. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this at the opening of the 8th European Political Community Summit in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.

According to him, this summer will be the moment when Russian President Vladimir Putin will have to decide what to do next: expand this war or turn to diplomatic channels. Zelenskyy noted that the Kremlin leader needs to be pushed towards diplomacy.

Russia has announced a parade on May 9, but there will be no military equipment at that parade. If this is indeed the case, it will be the first time in many years that they cannot afford to showcase weapons at the parade. In addition, Ukrainian drones can also fly during the parade, the Ukrainian president noted. According to him, this proves that the Russians are no longer as powerful as before, so it is necessary to continue to put pressure on them through sanctions.
