No Armenian alone can restore our Homeland, but all Armenians together can do it, so we must act hand in hand, united. Narek Karapetyan, number one on the Strong Armenia bloc’s electoral list for the parliamentary elections on June 7, announced this during their election campaign meeting with voters in Nor Hachn town Monday.
Karapetyan said that there are only six days left before the elections, in connection with which he called on his compatriots to actively talk to their surroundings and explain the importance of each citizen's participation in the electoral process. According to him, the vote of each person who decides to stay home will ultimately work in favor of the incumbent authorities.
“Whoever does not go to the polls, their votes go to [PM Nikol] Pashinyan,” the opposition figure said.
Karapetyan noted that the passivity of voters deprives Armenia of the opportunity for long-awaited changes. He called on citizens to demonstrate civic responsibility, go to the polls, and make the right choice for the future of the Armenian state.
“Participating in the elections is necessary, first of all, because so that changes can take place in us, so that our country stops being the weakest in the region, and so that we have a strong Armenia,” concluded Narek Karapetyan.
