Russia’s Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov called upon Armenia’s voters to actively support the Armenian communists in Sunday’s National Assembly elections.

“Without the close collaboration of our fraternal peoples, it is impossible to come out of the difficult crisis in which our countries and states have found themselves. Progress can be achieved solely through drawing the positions nearer.    

Our faction has always supported and assisted the partners in Armenia. We are interested that the Communist Party representatives will always be able to defend the workers’ interests, and, first and foremost, in the parliament, by passing laws for the benefit of each person.          

I am hopeful that this support, this friendship will only strengthen,” Zyuganov’s statement specifically reads.
