Arman Abovyan, a member of the Prosperous Armenia Party's political board, has called on voters not to reduce the pace of voter turnout in the ongoing parliamentary elections.

Abovyan noted the high level of voter turnout, recalling that according to the latest data, 33.9 percent of voters voted.

The opposition's call has been heard, Abovyan noted, urging voters not to reduce the pace and emphasizing that in the event of high voter turnout, the incumbent Armenian authorities will have no chance of being re-elected.

He appealed to capital city Yerevan residents, calling on them to put aside all disagreements and the narrative that "everything is decided."

“You are the one who decides,” he added

According to the politician, the choice is between two logics: to dance to the tune of the Turkish flute and threaten Armenians, to sow hatred and, in fact, not do anything positive, which is what the incumbent Armenian authorities are doing, or to build, improve, and lead the Armenian nation towards consolidation.

Everyone is tired of the abnormal situation of recent years, the atmosphere of hatred must be stopped, Abovyan stated.

The politician noted that numerous electoral violations were recorded, from the display of famous symbols (maps) to the display of ballots and attempts to direct the vote, in Sunday’s parliamentary elections.

“Anti-Corruption Committee, don’t you have any questions for the authorities?” Abovyan asked, adding that the authorities are doing everything to get the desired result.

“You will not get [it.] Remember well and stop the illegitimate methods. People are not afraid of you,” the politician stated.

He added that the Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia has been distributing falsified recordings since Saturday.

“The committee is focused on the opposition. And don’t you have any questions for the authorities? Look at what is happening,” the politician continued.

Addressing Armenia’s voters again, he said: “Do not let them decide the future of the country and children instead of you. We will win!”
