The Prosperous Armenia Party (CEC) on Friday is holding a protest in front of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) building.

Earlier today, PAP election campaign headquarters chief Hrachya Rostomyan issued a statement, noting: "Today at 13:00, we call on all our concerned citizens, PAP supporters to assemble at the CEC [building] to raise their just voice of protest against the ongoing injustices and permissiveness.

Our citizens are being deprived of their right to free expression of will, and this theft of votes must not go unanswered."

As reported earlier, the CEC on Thursday made a decision to invalidate the June 7 parliamentary elections’ results in two polling stations—35/65 and 10/51.

According to the CEC, the number of voters in those constituencies was recorded as the total number of inaccuracies.

And as a result of that decision, the Prosperous Armenia Party lost 213 votes, which could lead to it not receiving the minimum threshold of 4 percent of the votes and not entering in parliament.
