Today, the closing arguments will be presented in the Constitutional Court (CC). The Strong Armenia Alliance will be the first to present, then the other petitioners, after which the adjacent respondents, the third party, and the respondent. Opposition Strong Armenia Alliance representative at the CC, lawyer Aram Vardevanyan told this to reporters outside the CC Wednesday.

“Today's session will end with that, and the CC will leave for the deliberation room, while the decision should be made on July 4 at the latest,” Vardevanyan added.

When asked what decision he thinks can be expected from the CC on Saturday, taking into account that representatives of the ruling political force in Armenia state that the demands of the opposition forces are unfounded, he replied: "I think they couldn't have said anything else, although some of our compatriots had an idea that it was possible for them to demand that the [June 7 parliamentary] election results be declared invalid. I think many of them got the answer. And why don't they want the election results to be declared invalid? The answer is very clear, because the resource of electoral violations that has been used [already] will have difficulties in using it again. The resource, as such, is finite."

The Constitutional Court’s consideration of the case, which was joined based on petitions from seven political forces challenging the results of the regular parliamentary elections in Armenia held on June 7, began on June 26 and is still ongoing. The deadline to reach a decision on the matter is Saturday.
